Are they dying? No, thankfully your arbs are not dying. None of us have missed the awesome color on the deciduous trees.  This fall is exceptional! Just like the beautiful maples, your evergreens also lose leaves.  So when you look out and see your arbs turning brown in the center don’t worry, they are shedding leaves just like your other trees.

Now is a good time to remember that your newly planted arbs need a deep watering before winter.  They need to go to sleep with wet feet. It is healthy to take out the hose, set it on a trickle, and let it sit for an hour at the base of each one.
